To equip children with the ‘Tools for Life’ by teaching, and training them about their own minds, enabling them to self-regulate, build resilience, develop greater mental and emotional stability that will support them throughout life.  Stability of mind is the key to freedom.



Drawing on my 30 years experience of the human mind I teach people how to develop mental freedom from turbulent mind-states by harnessing and training their own mind.  Enabling them to move forward in a direction of positive growth, towards achieving their goals, to find meaning and purpose whilst navigating life’s ups and downs.

The first step to mental freedom is to understand the mind, its mental faculties and the thought process at play.  Thoughts produce feelings which direct behaviour and produce the results we get in life – positive or negative so we have to become extremely aware of our thoughts and thought patterns.  We do this by developing stability of mind, cognitive flexibility, and conscious awareness to see with clarity, to make changes and to live a life of choice.

As a BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy), qualified, registered, and accredited psychotherapist I have been working clinically within mental health services for over 11-years and within mind-body health for over 14 years.  During this time I have worked with thousands of people who want to make change, to move forward, to find purpose and achieve the goals that they want to achieve in life – this starts by understanding the mind and by taking action towards a desired outcome.

I work in private practice across all sectors including NHS, corporate and education, with individuals, groups and communities.  Helping people to develop proactive strategies, by understanding their minds to navigate through, anxiety, depression, and despair to a place of balance and control, to feel calmer, cope better and move in a direction of positive growth.

I am a fully qualified clinical supervisor experienced working within NHS IAPT service providing clinical supervision for IAPT counsellors and psychotherapists.  I am also a mindfulness supervisor providing clinical as well and non-clinical mindfulness supervision.
